無論你叫它『好朋友』、『大姨媽』，還是其他名字，生理期是女孩子幾乎大半輩子都得面對的問題。在英文裡，月經來的那個週期便稱為 menstrual period，"I am having my menstrual period." 即表示『我生理期來了。』
一起來學「月經來了」「經痛」等等的英文怎麼說吧！
I’m on my period.
我月經來了。
period 是「經期」的意思，on one’s period（或是你也可以說 have one’s period）指的就是「生理期中；月經來了」。
另外，你也可以用 the menstrual cycle（也就是中文的 M.C.），是表達「生理期」比較正式的說法！
如果月經還沒來，你可以用 late 「遲到」表示：
My period is late and I’m scared.
我月經還沒來，好害怕。
月經又叫大姨媽，
