At least 150 people died on October 29, 2022, during a crowd surge in Seoul, South Korea. The tragedy took place in the Itaewon neighborhood, an 5 area famous for its night life. Many young people were heading to the area to attend Halloween parties. Most of the victims were young women in their twenties.
