關於景點
landmark (n.) 地標
skyline (n.) 天際線
Ex: The Empire State Building is a familiar landmark on the New York skyline.
(在紐約的高樓大廈中，帝國大廈是人們熟悉的一座地標。)
must-see (a.) 必看的 / (n.) 必看之物
Ex: This place is one of the must-see landmarks in this city.
(這個地方是這座城市必看的的地標之一。)
Ex: If you haven’t been there, you haven’t lived. (你如果沒去過那裡，就白活了。)
形容景點
breathtaking (a.) 美得驚人的；令人嘆為觀止
mind-blowing (a.) 令人興奮的；令人驚奇的
to say the least 一點也不誇張地說，至少可以這樣說
Ex: The view from the top of the building is breathtaking and mind-blowing, to say the least.
(從這棟大樓頂端看到的景觀令人嘆為觀止，這麼說一點也不誇張。)

the best bet 最好的方式
Ex: Your best bet is to take the subway so that you can get around the city fast.
(最好的方式是搭地鐵，這樣你就能很快地瀏覽這座城市。)
drop (v.) 累壞倒下 (累到腿軟)
shopaholic (n.) 購物狂
stomp (v.) 用腳踏採
Ex: This shopping mall is where people usually shop till they drop. It’s shopaholic’s stomping ground.
(這個購物中心是人們常逛街的逛到腿軟的地方，是購物狂常去的地方。)
senior (n.) 年長者
the disabled (n.) 身障人士( = the handicapped / the physically challenged )
Ex: Is the city tour suitable for children / seniors / the disabled?
(這趟城市觀光行適合兒童/老年人/身障人士嗎?)
【情境對話】
A: We would like to go on the city tour tomorrow, please.
B: OK. How many people?
A: Four adults.
B: The price is $30 per adult, so that will be $120 in total. The price includes refreshments and lunch but does not include entrance fees.
A: OK. What time does the tour start?
B: The bus will pick you up at the hotel at 9:30 a.m. You will return at approximately 5:30 p.m., depending on the traffic.
A: Should we bring anything?
B: Just your camera and an umbrella in case it rains. But the weather forecast for tomorrow is good.
