For almost 100 years, Time magazine has dedicated one issue to the most significant person or group of the previous year. While it’s often challenging to pick one influential figure to represent a year, the choice for 2022 was obvious. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy was chosen as Time magazine’s Person of the Year 2022 for his extraordinary efforts to lead his country in the fight against Russian aggression.
