「排隊」已經是我們日常生活中的一部分。排隊是一個公平、有序的方式，在「排隊文化」裡，我們懂得按照先來先服務的原則，依次排隊等候，不插隊、不搶先，不搶佔他人的權益。當然也是會遇到不遵守排隊規則的人，這時候很能會引起其他人的不滿和不公平感，甚至可能引發爭執和衝突。

表示「排隊」的常用片語有: 1. queue up  排隊 e.g. Please queue up for the cashier. (請排隊結帳。) 2. line up  排隊 e.g. Please line up in an orderly fashion and wait for your turn.  (請有秩序地排隊等候你的輪到。) 3. wait in line (= stand in line)  在隊伍中排隊等待 e.g. We had to wait in line for over an hour to get tickets.  (我們得排隊等一個多小時才能買到票。) 4. join the queue/line  加入隊伍排隊 e.g. They joined the queue outside the store before it opened.  (他們在店門口開門前就加入了隊伍。)

 

表示「插隊」的常用片語有: 1. cut in line/ butt in line  (口語) 插隊 e.g. Someone tried to cut in line in front of me. （有人試圖在我前面插隊。） 2. cut the queue  插隊 e.g. He tried to cut the queue, but the security guard stopped him.  (他試圖插隊，但保安阻止了他。） 3. jump the queue  插隊 e.g . Don't jump the queue, wait for your turn like everyone else. （不要插隊，像其他人一樣等待輪到你。） 4. push in line  插隊 e.g. He pushed in line in front of me and pretended he didn't see me. （他在我前面插隊，假裝沒看到我。）

Go and join the back of the queue. 到隊伍那兒去排隊吧。

Please queue up. 請排隊。

Please line up one after another. 請依序排隊。

Please form a line outside the hall. 請在大廳外排成一列。

Since you left the line, you will need to queue up once again.
既然你離開了隊伍，你就需要重新排隊。

Don’t cut in line. 不要插隊。
