A flea market is a place where people can buy and sell goods. Vendors can sell whatever they want to whomever they choose. It’s a good place to buy second-hand goods, antiques, collectibles, and cheap items. Usually, the prices are not fixed and you can haggle, meaning you can offer whatever price you think is reasonable for the things you like.
There’s also a slim chance that you might get very lucky. For instance, a Chinese bowl bought for $3 in New York turned out to be from the 11th century and was sold at an auction years later for $2.2 million! And an original copy of the US Declaration of Independence, which was discovered inside a $4 painting, was later sold for $2.4 million!
Sometimes you can get a bargain at a flea market.
