Unit 34 so nice a teacher 或 a so nice teacher？
有時候我們在稱讚人，我們會說「如此…的人」，像我們可能會說 such a nice person. (如此好的人)，這邊想問問大家，如果要用 “so”來表示「如此好的老師」，該怎麼說呢?

在 “so... that...”（如此…以致於…）的句型中，so 是副詞，表「如此地、那麼地」，之後須接形容詞，再接a / an + 單數可數名詞。 |
例 Mrs. Li is a so nice teacher that we all like him. (X)
→ Mrs. Li is so nice a teacher that we all like him. (O)
= Mrs. Li is such a nice teacher that we all like him. (O)
(李先生是那麼好的老師，因此我們都很喜歡她。)
a. 上列句型不可接不可數名詞或複數名詞。
例 It is so good music that I never feel tired of listening to it. (X)
不可數名詞
例 They are so good teachers that I respect them all. (X)
複數名詞
故上列兩句應改寫如下：
例 It is such good music that I never feel tired of listening to it. (O)
(這音樂真好聽，我百聽不厭。)
例 They are such good teachers that I respect them all. (O)
(他們是很棒的老師，因此我很尊敬他們。)
b. 但 “so much + 不可數名詞” 或 “so many + 複數名詞” 則合語法。
例 I have so much work to do that I can’t go out with you today.
不可數名詞
= I have so many things to do that I can’t go out with you today.
我今天有太多的工作／事情要做，因此無法跟你外出了。
