Hi 大家好。
今天給大家來講一個字，就是 「放鬆」。
壓力大那我們要放鬆一下~
有這麼一個字 a combination of two words (組合字)。
一個叫做 "chill"，一個叫做 "relax"。合在一起變成一個字，叫 "chillax"。
你看 這是一個創新的一個詞，但是可以聽到外國人經常會使用：
"I'm worn out after all the work, Paul."
Paul 在所有的工作做完之後，我累趴了。
"I'm worn out." 這個 worn，是來自於 wear。
wear 就是磨損的意思，本來是 「穿著」。它的過去分詞是 worn。
"I was worn out"，產生連讀 worn out
"after all the work, Paul."
他說 "Poor you, Peter."
「彼得 你好可憐喔」
"Poor you" 不是 "You're poor."
"You're poor." 變成 「你好窮啊」 這樣子
"Poor you" 這個是固定的用法
千萬不要講 "You are poor."
"Poor you, Peter."
「你好可憐喔」
"Let's take in a movie and chillax."
這時候他就講「咱們看場電影放鬆放鬆一下。」
"Let's take in"，take 加 in 的時候是 「欣賞」 的意思，這邊就等於 watch。
"Let's go watch a movie and chillax."
"chillax" 也可以變成另外一個字，叫 "chill out"，那 "chill out" 要分開寫。
好 現在跟讀一下
"I’m worn out after all the work, Paul."
"Poor you, Peter."
"Let's take in a movie and chillax."
