Ian and James arranged to go hiking at Ivy Park on a long weekend. They decided to meet up at the start of the main trail. The friends started up the mountain path and arrived at a scenic spot, where there was a cliff overlooking a beautiful lake. Ignoring the warning sign, Ian jumped over the fence, ran towards the edge of the cliff, and took out his smartphone to take a selfie. Just as James was about to warn Ian to be careful, his friend backed up too far and fell off the cliff!
James was in a panic , thinking Ian had fallen to his death. He ran quickly down the trail. To his great relief , James saw Ian swimming slowly in the lake. Fortunately, the cliff was not high and Ian had landed in the clear, blue water. Ian was mildlyinjured and unable to walk, so James decided to call for help. When the rescue team found them, Ian was scolded for not heeding the warning. That day, he learned that recklessness can get you into trouble.
