Life can be challenging, particularly for people with a condition like autism. It is a mysterious __1__ that does not have one single cause and can take many forms. As a three-year-old, Haley was able to do complex tasks such as finishing large puzzles. Nevertheless, she wouldn’t, or couldn’t, say simple words like “Mommy.” Concerned, Haley’s parents took her to a doctor. After examining the young girl, the physician __4__her as having autism.
