A: Arthur  I: Iris

Arthur and Iris work together at their designer fashion company.

A: Have you seen the new handbags that our competitor Mercury just put on the market?

I: No, why? What’s so special about them?

A: Nothing special at all, except that they copied the design for our Autumn Diva handbag that we released last year.

I: Are you serious? Can I see a photograph?

(Arthur shows her a picture on his smartphone.)

I: Oh, my gosh! Besides the design, they even called it the Summer Starlet. I am so angry!

A: I know, right? They’ve been running out of ideas for a while as far as I know, but I never thought they would steal our work and call it their own.

I: They are such mean copycats.

A: How do you think we should deal with this situation?

I: First, we need to quickly call a meeting with our employees and make sure no one is working with Mercury behind our backs.

A: No! That would be too much.

I: I hope not, but their bags look way too similar to ours.

A: True. In fact, I’m going to go buy one of their bags to compare for myself.
