Mandy and Linus have finished their meeting with Hillary, who has just left the office.
M: So, do you think Hillary will be a little more helpful around the office from now on?
L: I hope so. I think you did a good job of explaining our expectations to her.
M: Thanks. She seemed to take things a bit more seriously during our meeting.
L: I really didn’t need to say much and you are the one most familiar with the problems in your department.
M: I’d still like to thank you for backing me up and talking to her about her attitude. She needed to hear it from a manager like you.
L: Well, I’m glad I could help. Hopefully, she will start treating her coworkers with a little more respect.
M: She really is a good programmer. I just hope she can be a bit more helpful and learn to take constructive criticism.
L: Well, let me know if there are any further problems or if any further action needs to be taken.
M: I will. Thanks again. I’m going to head back to my desk.
L: OK, have a good afternoon.
