　　The Taiwan Dog is a rare breed native to Taiwan. Studies have shown that Taiwan Dogs are the descendants of South Asian hunting dogs that were brought to the island as early as 20,000 years ago. At first, they were useful to ancient hunters, who relied on them to find prey. Over time, people began keeping them as pets, and they proved to be excellent guard dogs.
