Minions: The Rise of Gru is an incredibly fun and amazing film. It’s a prequel of the previous films in the franchise that centers around Gru’s origin story about how he became a supervillain and met the Minions.
In the movie, Gru is just a child, plotting world domination from his basement. He crosses paths with the beloved Minions, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto—a new Minion who tries hard to please everyone. Gru tries out for the villain group, the Vicious 6, but ends up angering them in the process and becomes their enemy. With the help of his new friends, the Minions, Gru tries his hardest to fight off the supervillains. The Minions take a journey to learn kung-fu in order to save Gru, and Gru learns that even bad guys need a little help from their friends. This is the most action-packed and anticipated film of the series that lovers of the franchise can’t wait to see.
