有時候計畫總是趕不上變化,如果需要改期或取消會議,記得要馬上通知聯絡人。
♦ 在要求改期或取消會議時,可以將 Unfortunately 或 Sorry 等字放在句首表示遺憾之意,以避免觸怒對方,使人不悅。
如:Unfortunately, I'm unable to make the meeting scheduled for Friday morning.
(不巧的是,我無法出席預定在星期五早上的會議。)
這樣下筆就對了~
1. 點出會議將被改期。(I need to postpone our meeting until...)或取消(The meeting has been canceled.)
2. 說明原因。(I'm afraid something has come up.)
3. 告知新的會議時間(The time has been changed to...)並致歉。(I apologize
for the change.)
