此類郵件目的在處理顧客的投訴，應注意下列兩點：
1. 假設「顧客或許是對的」（The customer may be right.）。
2. 要立刻回信確認收到了對方的投訴。如果暫時不能確切地回答對方的問題，應向對方解釋正在著手調查，稍後將完整回覆。
