帶大家認識幾個「租屋」必備的實用英文說法，國外租屋簡單好上手

你有租屋的經驗嗎？不管是在國內或是國外，從尋找租屋、看房子到最後的簽訂合約，是一條非常漫長又艱辛的過程，想必租屋族們一定很有同感!
在國外租屋當然也是有很多需要留意的地方，如果你是有打算在國外生活、打算留學的人，或是想了解怎麼在國外租房子，這篇肯定要好好收藏學習啦!
常見的租屋問題，像是「可以養寵物嗎?」、「有供停車位嗎?」、「月租多少?」…等，
你知道這些問題，英文該怎麼說嗎? 帶大家認識幾個「租屋」必備的實用英文說法 :
在國外尤其是學生，通常會考慮合租一間公寓，「合租」最常見的說法可以用”share (分享)” 這個字來表達，最好別說成 rent together喔!
I’ d like to share an apartment / a flat with a female. 我想和一名女性合租一間公寓。
"flat"在美式英文中，可以指「平坦的」意思，在英式英文裡做名詞時可指「一棟樓裡的一層套房(公寓套房)」；而"apartment"多在美式英文裡使用，指「公寓套房」」
通常在挑選住屋處時，會先考慮是否有附傢俱或空屋，傢俱大家都知道有個單字叫”furniture”，也別忘了動詞”furnish”的用法喔!
Is the apartment furnished or unfurnished? 公寓有附傢俱還是沒附傢俱?
furnished a. 附傢俱的
unfurnished a. 不附傢俱的
e.g. They rented a furnished apartment on the third floor. (他們租了一間在三樓附傢俱的公寓。)
租屋最關心的肯定就是「租金」啦~ 動詞出租”rent” 這個字本身也可以當作是名詞「租金；租費」使用；也別忘了詢問好「押金」的部分喔!
How much is the monthly rent? 月租多少?
You have to pay a month’s rent as a security deposit. 你得付一個月的房租作為押金。

How long is the lease for? 租約多久?
lease n. 租約
有部分租屋是有含水電瓦斯的，英文裡如有看到 “utilities included ”意思這租金是包含了water(水)、electricity (電)、gas(瓦斯)，這種家用水電費就統稱為”utilities”。
Does it include utilities? / Are utilities included? 包含水電瓦斯費嗎?
What is the size of the apartment? / How many square meters is it? 公寓多大? / 它有多少平方公尺?
1 ping(坪) = 3.3 square meters (平方公尺)
如果還想詢問租屋是否配有某些家電用品，「配備/有」英文可以用”be equipped with ”，比方說:
The apartment is equipped with a TV set, a fridge, and a washing machine. 公寓配有電視機、冰箱和洗衣機。
be equipped with sth 配有某物
並不是每間租屋都是寵物友善的，想詢問可否攜帶寵物入住你可以直接說:
Are pets allowed? 可以養寵物嗎?
