bring 通常為要求對方把某物或某人帶來說話者的位置。

1 表達(攜)帶 人 或 物 :
bring along 攜帶某物;帶上某人
bring over 帶某人或某物過來
bring in 帶進某物、邀到某人進入
bring back 帶回某物、帶某人回家或特定的地方

3 表達提出、引起或培養某種想法、問題或主題:
bring up 提出、教育、養育
bring forth 生產出;引起;提出
- She brought up an interesting point during the meeting.(她在會議中提出了一個有趣的觀點。)
- I was brought up in a strict family.(我在一個嚴格的家庭中長大。)
- They are bringing up their children to be bilingual.(他們正在教育孩子們成為雙語人才。)
- The company plans to bring forth a new line of products next year. (公司計畫明年推出一系列新產品。)
bring up a topic 表示開始討論或提出一個話題,通常用於會議、討論或其他類似的場合中。
bring up to speed 使某人或某物跟上最新的發展或進展
bring up the rear 描述一個人或一個物體在一個群體中處於最後面的位置,即最後一個。
