TV and Film Affected as Writers Go on Strike
The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has gone on strike in Hollywood since the beginning of May. Writers are asking for higher pay, fairer deals, and regulations regarding artificial intelligence. The strike has led to picketing outside major studios and the disruption of TV show productions. Writers are facing challenges due to low wages and the changing business model of streaming services.
