 A  Your room is a mess, Jamie. Please tidy it up.
 B  It is tidy, Mom.
 A  No, it isn’t. The clothes lying on the floor need to be hung up in your closet. The toys under the bed need to be put in your toy box. The trash littered everywhere needs to be thrown away. Should I continue?
 B  The clothes are on the floor because I was getting changed. The toys are under the bed because I was pretending to be in a cave. And that’s not trash; those are paper airplanes.
 A  Don’t talk back, young man! Do as your mother says!
 B  OK. I’m sorry, Mom. I’ll tidy it up now.
 

 

 A  傑米，你的房間亂七八糟。請你整理一下。
 B  它很乾淨了，媽媽。
 A  不，才沒有。地上的衣服需要掛在你的衣櫃裡。床底下的玩具需要放到你的玩具箱裡。亂丟滿地的垃圾需要丟掉。我要繼續嗎？
