俚語精解

slack 可作形容詞，表『鬆懈的』，亦可引申為『經濟不熱絡的』。a slack season 即指生意的『淡季』，a slack worker 指『工作時打混的人』。slack 亦可作動詞用，表『鬆懈』，slack off 即指『摸魚打混』。

lie down on the job  字面意思是『躺在工作上』，引申為『工作時敷衍了事』。
