Everyone’s favorite plumber is back in  theaters in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie , the sequel to 2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie . The story picks up with Bowser shrunk and confined to a small castle under the watchful eyes of Mario and Luigi. Peace in the Mushroom Kingdom is short-lived, however, when Bowser’s son, Bowser Jr., arrives to rescue his father. Mario, Luigi, and the gang must face off against this new threat to protect the land. Audiences can also expect a surprise appearance by Princess Rosalina, adding an exciting new element to the story.

　　Inspired by the beloved 2007 Wii game Super Mario Galaxy , The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is scheduled to be released in April 2026. This time, the story moves beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and begins a large-scale space adventure, marking a major expansion of the Nintendo universe. The film promises a colorful journey filled with familiar characters, imaginative worlds, and exciting new challenges that will delight fans of all ages.
