Displaying innovations for a better future

　　The World’s Fair goes by many names, such as the Universal Exposition and the World Expo. The event focuses on showing progress made by countries around the world. For more than 150 years, World’s Fairs have displayed innovations in science, industry, and technology to the public. They often present what the future could be like and give people hope in difficult times. Some of the most memorable fairs were held during periods of global hardship, such as war or economic depression.
