It is difficult to figure out exactly how many Pallas’s cats exist in the wild because they are spread out across large areas and found in very low numbers. However, scientists estimate that there are about 58,000 Pallas’s cats living in the wild. This number suggests that they are not currently considered endangered. They tend to live in remote places where they have little contact with humans, which may offer them some protection from threats such as hunting.
