Unit 8 He as well as I is... 或 He as well as I am...？
as well as表「以及」，其用法如下：
a. 可視作 連接詞，連接主詞時，動詞按第一個主詞作變化：
例 He as well as I am / are fond of fishing. (×)
→ He as well as I is fond of fishing. (O)
例 He as well as I enjoy fishing. (×) = He as well as I enjoys fishing. (O)
(他和我都喜歡釣魚。)
b. along with 或 together with 是介詞，也表「以及」，之後接受詞。
例 He along with me / together with me are fond of fishing. (×)
主詞
→ He along with me / together with me is fond of fishing. (O)
主詞
例 He along with me / together with me enjoy fishing.(×)
主詞
→ He along with me / together with me is fond of fishing. (O)
= He along with me / together with me enjoys fishing. (O)
(他和我都喜歡釣魚。)
(Both) he and I are fond of fishing. (佳)
= (Both) he and I enjoy fishing. (佳)
c. as well as 亦可視作介詞，等於 in addition to，表「除……之外尚且……」，通常置句首。
例 As well as sing, Jane plays the piano. (×)
→ As well as singing, Jane plays the piano. (O ，少用)
= In addition to singing, Jane plays the piano. (O)，常用)
珍除了會唱歌外，也會彈琴。
