Unit 40  the best friend of mine 或 a good friend of mine?

「我的好朋友」「我最好的朋友」若英文我們用「所有格」，可以說 my good friend or my best friend.
但如果我要改用成「所有格代名詞」像mine, yours, ours..這種。

這邊想問問大家，大家覺得以下哪個說法是對的呢?
the best friend of mine 或 a good friend of mine？

 

例 Jack is the best friend of mine. (X)
-> 應說：Jack is one of my best friends. (O)  (傑克是我最要好的朋友之一。)

或 Jack is my best friend. (O)    (傑克是我最要好的朋友。)

 

 

例 A friend of my is coming to visit me this afternoon. (X)
→ A friend of mine is coming to visit me this afternoon. (O)
(我的一位朋友今天下午會來看我。)

注意：在本句型中，不要使用數詞 one 取代a / an，即：

例 I ran into one old friend of mine this morning. (X)
→ I ran into an old friend of mine this morning. (O)
= I ran into one of my old friends this morning. (O)
(今天早上我碰到我的一位老友。)

例 Two friends of mine are very good at singing. (O)
= Two of my friends are very good at singing. (O)
(我的兩位朋友歌唱得很好。)

例 Which car of your can I use? (X)
→ Which car of yours can I use? (O)  (你的哪一輛車可讓我使用？)

例 You can use these pens of mine. (O)  (你可以使用我的這些筆。)

例 Are you a friend of Tom? (X)   (你是湯的朋友嗎?)
→ Are you a friend of Tom’s? (O)

例 I’ve read some books of yours. (O)  (我曾看過你的一些書。)

例 No friends of mine will ever do things like this! (O)  (我的朋友沒一個會做這樣的事！)
