1. 上網 surf the internet

老派指數：★★★★☆

這個說法在網咖時代很流行，但現在講出來真的有點復古。
畢竟誰還在「衝浪」啦，我們只是在滑手機好嗎～

老派說法：

• I surf the internet every night. 我每天晚上都會上網衝浪。

口語說法：

• I go online a lot. 我很常上網。
• I was just browsing. 我剛剛只是隨便看看。
• I’m scrolling through Instagram. 我在滑 IG。

2. 休息 take a rest

老派指數：★★★☆☆

這句以前老師很愛教，但母語者比較常說 take a break。

老派說法：

• You look tired. Take a rest. 你看起來很累，休息一下。

口語說法：

• Take a break. 休息一下。
• Chill for a bit. 放鬆一下。
• Sit down and relax. 坐下來休息一下。

3. 做家事 do the housework

老派指數：★★★☆☆

雖然文法完全正確，但比起這種比較抽象的總稱，native speakers 更常講具體的事，比如 mop the floor（拖地）、do the laundry（洗衣服）。

老派說法：

• I need to do the housework this weekend. 我週末要做家事。

口語說法：

• I need to do some chores. 我要做些雜事。
• Gotta clean the bathroom and fold the laundry. 我要清理廁所還有摺衣服。

4. 逛街 window shopping

老派指數：★★★★☆

這個詞還算聽得懂，但不夠口語，感覺像課本的句子。逛街不買東西，美國人比較常說 just looking around！

老派說法：

• I love window shopping on weekends. 我週末超愛逛街但不買東西。

口語說法：

• I’m just looking around. 我只是逛逛啦。
• We were checking out some stores. 我們只是逛幾間店看看。

5. 拍照 take a photo

老派指數：★★☆☆☆

這句雖然不至於太老氣，但也有點像書面用語。現在大家都說 take a pic 或 snap a selfie，感覺比較親切。

老派說法：

• Let’s take a photo together. 我們一起拍張照吧。

口語說法：

• Let’s take a pic. 一起拍一張！
• Wanna snap a selfie? 要不要自拍一張？

6. 好久不見 Long time no see!

老派指數：★★★☆☆

這句很經典，但有點復古感。雖然還能用，但也有更自然的替代說法。

老派說法：

• Long time no see! 好久不見！

口語說法：

• It’s been a while! 好久沒看到你了！
• I haven’t seen you in forever! 真的超久沒看到你了欸！

7. 我可以去廁所嗎 May I go to the restroom?

老派指數：★★★★★

學校上課一定會講「May I」，但在生活中講起來有點太過禮貌了。

老派說法：

• May I go to the restroom? 我可以去上廁所嗎？

口語說法：

• Can I use the bathroom? 我可以上個廁所嗎？
• I need to go to the restroom. 我想去上個廁所。

8. What a pity!

老派指數：★★★☆☆

這句超級禮貌但也超級不口語，現在更多人會說：That sucks 或 Bummer，情緒更到位。

老派說法：

• Oh no, you lost your umbrella? What a pity! 啊你傘不見了嗎？真令人惋惜！

口語說法：

• That sucks! 好慘！
• That’s a bummer. 真衰。
• Ugh, unlucky! 啊，真倒霉！

9. 我要出國 I’m going abroad.

老派指數：★★★☆☆

這句有點太正式了～日常生活更常說 go overseas 或直接說去哪。

老派說法：

• I’m going abroad next month. 我下個月要出國。

口語說法：

• I’m going overseas. 我要出國啦。
• I’m flying to Japan next month. 我下個月要飛日本。
• I’ll be out of the country. 我會在國外喔。
