tea 在這裡有「八卦」????的意思，

所以 “What’s the tea?” 其實是要問你：「有什麼八卦嗎？」

 

•  What’s the tea?　　有什麼八卦嗎？
  例：
  A: Have you heard that Fiona dumped her boyfriend?
  B: No! What’s the tea?
  甲：你聽說費歐娜甩了她男友的事了嗎？
  乙：沒有！有什麼八卦嗎？

• spill the tea　　把八卦說出來，說閒話
  例：
  Don’t gossip about others. Spilling the tea won’t do you any good.
  別說別人的閒話。說八卦對你沒任何好處。
