 下面的英文先學起來吧！

1. 彩券/ 樂透  lottery ticket (所有彩券的通稱)

There are several different types of lottery tickets, each with its own set of rules on how to win a prize.

彩劵有許多不同的種類，各有各的得獎規則。

 

2. 買樂透 buy a lottery ticket

David likes to buy a lottery ticket every month in the hopes that he might win a prize.

大衛每個月買一張彩劵，希望可以中獎。

 

3. 集資 chip in / pool

The employees all chipped in to buy lottery tickets in the hopes of increasing their chances of winning the grand prize.

4. 槓龜 fail to win the lottery

( 英文裡只有「贏」樂透而沒有「輸」樂透的概念，且lose the lottery 容易和「弄丟得獎彩劵」混淆 )

Diane was devastated when she failed to win the lottery for the third time in a row since she had spent a huge amount of money on the tickets.

黛安三度槓龜後大受打擊，因為她花了一大筆錢買彩劵。

 

5. 刮刮樂 scratch-off (lottery ticket) / instant lottery ticket

Scratch-offs offer a special kind of excitement that comes from scratching off the metal foil covering the winning numbers.

刮掉刮刮樂上覆蓋中獎號碼的金屬塗層會給人一種特別的刺激感。

 

6. 中獎號碼 winning numbers 

( 中獎號碼一定不只一個，所以要用複數喔！)

Everyone held their breath and watched as the winning numbers were read out on TV.

大家都屏息凝神地看著電視上宣布中獎號碼。

 

7. 有夠幸運的！What good luck !

His lottery ticket won the grand prize this time. What good luck!

他這次買的彩券贏得頭獎，真是有夠幸運的！
