 　　Nowadays, many families and individuals struggle to make ends meet; that is, they find it difficult to earn enough money to provide for their basic needs. Often, incomes don’t rise as fast as the cost of rent, gas, electricity, food, and numerous other household bills.

 　　People often turn to the internet to look for ideas of how to save money. Usually, the first step is to work out a budget. That’s how you can see how much you should spend and know where to cut costs. But there is another area you can focus on: earning more money. You could get a part-time job, ask for a raise or promotion at work, sell unwanted items online, or even become a dog walker!

 　　現今，許多家庭或個人努力要維持生計；意思是，他們發現要賺足夠的錢以供基本需求很困難。收入增加的速度往往不如房租、油錢、電費、食物價錢以及許多其他家庭帳單。
