    Japanese artist Higuchi Yuko, who has captured hearts from Japan and beyond, is making an overseas debut in Taiwan with the “Fantasy Animal Forest” exhibition. Higuchi’s artwork is renowned for its imaginative blend of reality and fantasy. Cats, birds, and mushrooms often feature prominently in the artist’s creations. With classic books, art collections, and collaborations with famous brands, Higuchi has earned a broad following.
    The “Fantasy Animal Forest” exhibition is your passport to a world of magic and wonder created by Higuchi Yuko. It features nearly a thousand carefully selected pieces of Higuchi’s artwork. In addition to Higuchi’s two-dimensional works, the exhibition also brings the artist’s creations to life in three dimensions. You can expect to see exquisite dolls created by puppet artist Imai Masayo. These dolls are adorned with hand-painted facial expressions by Higuchi, which add new dimensions to the characters in the artist’s stories. The exhibition’s three-dimensional displays also include miniature wooden books and folding screens, which feature diverse textures for each work.
