關係形容詞（即以 which 取代 that 或 this）

句型  1 ：which + n. + S + V...　　而這個……
  • The book was written in Hebrew, which(= and this) language I don't understand.
    （這本書是用希伯來文寫的，而這種語文我不懂。）
     
  • More and more people are out of work, which(= and this) fact the government ignores.
    （越來越多的人失業，而這個事實政府不聞不問。）

 

句型  2 ：whichever + n. + S + V...　　（其中的）任一……（有限）
  • Some customers tend to pick up whichever product(= any product that) is the cheapest.
    （有些客人往往會選購最便宜的任何一種產品。）
     
  • You may take whichever seat(= any seat that) is near you.
    （你可以就近選任何一個座位坐下。）

 

句型  3 ：what few / little + (n.) + S + V...　　僅有的一點點……
  • Tom spent what little time he had(= all the little time that he had) with his family.
    （湯姆把僅有的一點點時間拿來與家人共度。）
     
  • She had to turn to what few friends(= all the few friends thatd) she had.
    （她必須求助於她僅有的幾個朋友。）

 

句型  4 ：whatever + n. + S + V...　　任何……的（無限）
  • You can do it in whatever(any...that) way you may think of.（方式無限）
    （你能以你想到的任何方式來做。）
     

 比較: 
You may pay it in whichever way you like: in cash or by check.（方式有限）
（你可以以你喜歡的方式來付帳：付現或開票。）
