（你正被監視中。） - Anna is being considerate today.
（安娜今天倒體貼起來了。）
| 過去進行式：表過去某一點時間正在進行的動作 |

句型：S + was / were + V-ing... |
- I was watching TV at 7:30 last night.
（昨晚 7 點半時我正在看電視。） - The child was sitting on the rug when I came in.
（我進來時這個孩子正坐在地毯上。） - She was being examined by a physician.
（她當時正在接受一名醫師檢查。）

句型：S + will be + V-ing... |
- When I arrive at the airport, my whole family will be waiting for me.
（當我抵達機場時，全家人將正在等候我。） - At 10:00 tomorrow morning, he will be attending a staff meeting.
（明天早上 10 點鐘時，他將正在參加員工會議。）
《補充說明》 下列表達『情意』、『知覺』與其他意義的動詞不用於進行式：
- like, love, prefer, want, wish, dislike, hate
- believe, know, forget, remember, see (= understand), think (= suppose)
- feel, hear, see, smell, taste
上列部分動詞意義改變時可以用於進行式，如：
Are you thinking he is competent? (×)
Do you think he is competent? (✓)
（你認為他可以勝任嗎？）
Are you thinking about taking legal action? (✓)
（你正在考慮採取法律行動嗎？）
Are you seeing what I mean? (×)
Do you see what I mean? (✓)
（你明白我的意思嗎？）
Are you seeing(= visiting) the doctor this afternoon? (✓)
（你今天下午去看醫生嗎？）
