Toy Story 5 is set to bring audiences back to the world of toys. Following the events of Toy Story 4, Jessie has stepped up as the new leader in Bonnie’s room, with Buzz Lightyear serving as her second-in-command. However, things have changed. Bonnie, now eight years old, has become attached to a new favorite plaything: a frog-like tablet called Lilypad. This modern “toy” introduces a new challenge, as it has very different opinions from other toys about what is best for Bonnie.
As the toys struggle to adapt to this new reality, there is a long-awaited reunion between Buzz and Woody, who left the group in Toy Story 4 to help abandoned toys. Produced by Disney and Pixar, the film mixes humor, emotion, and modern concerns about the impact of technology on children. Toy Story 5 promises a heartfelt and exciting new adventure and is one of the most anticipated animated films of the year.
