不知不覺已經寫到第五篇了,怎麼能錯過「have」這個超常用的動詞呢!包含 have 的 collocations 搭配詞相當多,記憶起來可能會有些困難,所以本篇試著把會使用到的"時機"與"情境"做分類,希望能幫助大家記憶:
常見使用到 have 搭配詞的 20 種時機與情境:
1 表示日常活動:
have a meal (breakfast)、(dinner) / a drink用餐(早餐、晚餐)、喝一杯 have a smoke抽菸
I usually have my breakfast at 7 o'clock in the morning.(我通常在早上七點吃早餐。)
Let's go to the bar and have a drink.(讓我們去酒吧喝一杯。)
He likes to have a smoke after meals.(他喜歡飯後抽煙。)
2 表示行為:
have a conversation / a word / a chat:談話或聊天,通常指的是非正式的對話。 have an argument:爭論或爭吵
I had a good conversation with my friend yesterday.(我昨天跟我的朋友有一次很好的對話。)
Can I have a word with you in private?(我能和你私下談一下嗎?)
Let's have a chat over coffee.(我們一起喝咖啡聊聊天吧。)
We had an argument about politics last night.(昨晚我們因為政治問題爭吵了一次。)
3 表示遭遇某種情況:
have an accident / an emergency / a run-in發生事故、遇到緊急情況、遇到麻煩 have a close call差點出事(千鈞一髮) have a problem / a difficult(rough) time遇到問題或困難 have a setback / a crisis遭遇挫折、面臨危機
He was late for work this morning because he had an accident on the way. (他今天早上遲到了,因為他在路上發生了事故。)
We had an emergency when the power went out during the storm. (當風暴期間斷電時,我們遇到了緊急情況。)
He had a run-in with the law when he was caught speeding. (他因超速被逮捕時遇到了麻煩。)

4 表示某些特定的經歷:
have a baby / surgery / dream :意為「生孩子」、「動手術」、「做夢」

I have to have a surgery next week to remove my appendix.(下週我必須進行手術以移除我的闌尾。)
I didn't sleep well last night because I had a dream.(我昨天晚上因為做夢所以沒睡好。)

「have a dream」可以指某人的夢境,也可以指某人的夢想或願望,需要根據具體的語境來判斷。
5 表示正面的情緒感受:
have fun 玩得愉快、have a blast 玩得開心(盡興) have a laugh 感到好笑、幽默或有趣 have a good time 度過美好的時光 have the time of one's life:感到非常開心、興奮和滿足
We had a lot of fun at the beach last weekend.(我們上週末在海灘玩得很開心。)
We had a blast at the amusement park yesterday. (昨天我們在遊樂園玩得很開心。)
We always have a laugh when we get together.(我們聚在一起時總是能笑得很開心。)

6 表示負面的情緒感受:
have the blues心情低落或沮喪。 havea heavy heart感到非常沉重或悲傷 have a panic attack:意味着突然出現了強烈的、持續性的恐懼或不安感,通常伴隨著身體上的不適症狀,例如心跳加速、出汗、呼吸急促等。 have a meltdown(fit):意味着在情感上失去了控制,經常表現極端的、憤怒的行為或情緒爆發。 have a bad day:度過糟糕的一天。
I have the blues today, I think I need a break.(今天我有點沮喪,我想我需要休息。)
